Omar Farooq is the founder of Revival of Islam — a global intellectual and humanitarian movement dedicated to reconnecting modern humanity with the true spirit of Islam through knowledge, research and service.
With over six years of Islamic scholarship and community leadership, he envisioned a platform that bridges the gap between classical Islamic wisdom and the challenges of the contemporary world.

Prof Omar Farooq
Founder & President
Prof. Omar Farooq is a Software Engineer, social entrepreneur and founder of Revival of Islam. He has served as a Supervisor in socio-economic development projects with Govt Pakistan and possesses academic training in Islamic studies, including courses in Usool al-Hadith and related disciplines. Alongside managing "Umar Royal Links & Services" he is actively involved in educational and welfare initiatives aimed at community development and social reform. His work focuses on promoting ethical, interest-free economic models, educational empowerment, intellectual revival and humanitarian service. Through Revival of Islam, he seeks to bridge knowledge, reason and social responsibility, inspiring individuals and communities toward education, self-development and positive change.
Muhammad Aslam
Vice President
Muhammad Aslam is a Software Engineer, entrepreneur, and social development professional serving as the Vice President of Revival of Islam. He has previously worked as a Supervisor with SDPI on government-supported poverty alleviation and socio-economic development projects. As the Founder and Owner of Ayyan Global Traders, he brings valuable experience in business leadership, organizational management, and community development. His dedication to social welfare, economic empowerment, and institutional growth contributes significantly to the organization's mission and vision.
Mehtab Basharat
Legal Advisor
Mehtab Basharat is a law graduate and Legal Advisor at Revival of Islam. He provides legal counsel on governance, compliance, and organizational matters. His commitment to justice, integrity, and the rule of law helps strengthen the institution's mission and ensure responsible operations.
